BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, June 4 (Xinhua) -- Brunei's Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications on Thursday convened the Digital Brunei 2030 dialogue session themed "Together Towards a Digital Brunei."

The dialogue session brought together leaders from government, industry, academia, and communities to discuss the practical implementation of Brunei's national digital agenda under Brunei Vision 2035.

In a press release, the ministry said the dialogue session reflects a collective national effort to translate the recently published Digital Brunei 2030 plan into tangible actions and measurable outcomes that will shape the country's digital future.

The dialogue marks a deliberate shift in focus from establishing national direction towards delivering meaningful outcomes.

Building on the foundations established under the Digital Economy Masterplan 2025, including connectivity infrastructure, digital payments, and national digital identity capabilities, Digital Brunei 2030 now places greater emphasis on delivering seamless, trusted, and citizen-centric digital experiences that improve everyday interactions between people, businesses, and government. ■
